You'll need to convert videos to MP4 inorder for the PSP to recognize it. At least that's what I had to do with my PSP a few years ago.
I believe PSP still only support MP4... but yes you can use it as a 4.3" media player most likely watch movie.. if listening to music.. it is a bit too big lol
its all of us lol.. most mp3 player that have a color screen you can't really see if theres a sun.. unless its an iphone or itouch.. or a screen that is 16m.
^ oh wow thats quite interesing haha guess we do learn somethign everyday neways... psp only supports mp4 files at the moment... but they should really switch to avi i think its a bit more convenient cause most files that we download are in the avi format =/
It's the same demand that consumers want in an iPod.. Why won't they support AVI Files natively?? Gah, its such a pain coverting.. MIss the old days of my Creative Zen Vision M, when I didn't even have to convert my vids at all
lol yer converting sucks, lol but the graphics is actually pretty good for movies, lol i mean media player on psp and media player on ds = big difference
i prefer also seeing a movie on a psp then on the ds, and u can do quit a lot with the psp, now u can use the psp as a gps 2 with a add on
try using Xvid4psp. It will convert it to the right format and you can select the type of quality you want. PSP can also play divx avi files.. however you need to downscale to the right resolution. And theres a program for it.. not sure if you still need it now though. .PMP is also another format you can play videos in.
lol yer, installing codecs for psp would be cooler, converting takes too long, lol we need a PSP Media Player Classic or something
I tried a homebrew program for playing an avi file but it din worked well. So I stick to converting to mp4. No complains.
i don't watch videos on my psp, the converting takes too much time for my liking and its a small screen anyway.
