I am one for punitive consequences, but this lady is inhuman. I keep saying that a lot of parents these days are too soft, too undisciplined, and cannot discipline their children, however this is absolutely wretched, deplorable and despicably inhumane. It's disgusting.
sheesh its just hot sauce, back in my day he would have got his a$$ whooped. good job parent, i dont think its disgusting, inhumane, terrible etc etc, good alternative to a beating. imo punishment is supposed to be a bit cruel if you want to call it that.
im ok with ass whooping, but hot sauce? shit, this kid is fucking 3 years old, you can't force a fucking 3 year old kid to swallow hot sauce. maybe some of us can drink hot sauce out of the bottle now, but i highly doubt you can take a drop of it when you were 3. also, the fucking cold shower. you're 3 god damn years old, how the fuck do you force a kid to take a cold shower? you're exposing him to illness. im fine with ass whooping, because it doesn't leave permanent mental scars nor risk exposing illness. if you want your kid to be mentally scared, go ahead, do that shit. i can't believe you guys are ok with this shit. how about you stand in cold showers, if you find discomfort, how the fuck do you think a TODDLER would feel? unbelievable.
theres no point of comparing the past to the present. Hot sauce may sound normal, but to a little kid? i dont think so. so u would do that to ur kid, making him hold on to hot sauce and put him to cold shower eh? @Dan Anyways,i think its wrong to do that, is there a full episode? i want to see what the mother has to say.
sorry, i was just linked this on facebook, i don't know of the source.... and to quote a friend of mine "some people should just not have children."
Im not so ok with the whoopings but thats me, anyway I stopped reading during the first sentence, i dont like profanity.. you have your opinion, i have no desire or intention to argue with you. she gets a thumbs up from me though . -out2 we dont know the source and we dont know the sauce
A 3 year old kid is not the same as 20 year old man. Remember how you used to be scared of needles, or ripping a band aid off? That stuff is basically painless, but yet you were still kinda scared when you were little. Kids don't have a high threshold to pain. I can tell you right now that if my parents did the hot sauce thing to me, I would probably be in so much pain. Also he didn't swallow it, he kept it in his mouth. That's A LOT worse then swallowing, cause the spiciness does not fade and you're taking it on full strength the whole time it's in your mouth. There's discipline and then there is abuse. She's pretty borderline IMO
so you're against profanity, but you're ok with cruel and unusual punishment to a toddler. interesting.
depends on the sauce, if we knew the sauce used then you could decide. i got hot sauce that i cant hold in my mouth without screaming and im a grown up, that kid held it so i wonder what sauce was used. weaksauce imo
if he spit it out, he'd probably get deeper into another punishment. he tried to spit it but the mom said not to.
the cold shower seemed to upset him more than the sauce. if she gave him English mustard then that would be bad cus that stuff (the way i make it) gives the sensation of your scalp being ripped off and liquid fire coming out your nose. i gave some to my bro a few days ago, hilarious stuff happened a few seconds after taking some.
Well if he screamed, he would spit out the sauce, and therefore probably receive even more cruel punishment. He was pretty chocked up too after he spit it out, although you could not see his face, he was most likely crying and distraught. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if the hot sauce thing isn't even that much of a deal with this kid anymore if he's done it so many times. Probably can't even taste food. But judging from your comment you only think the hot sauce punishment is reasonable if the sauce was very weak. So at least you're not agreeing to burn your kid's tongue...
i'm not saying it isn't cruel and unusual.. but with conditioning this kid will learn to fake it earlier than you think, the cold shower is kinda dumb.... just makes them feel discomfort.... i have taken cold showers before and if you accept it your body will adjust to the temperature... he was in the shower for less than a minute..... cruel, yes, but you can say that about any negative reinforcement.....
well obviously.... cold water running down the whole body compared to just a burning sensation in the mouth
it doesn't matter what level of hot sauce you feed the kid. at 20 years old, im sure you can drink mild hot sauce without a problem. but again, PUT YOURSELF IN A TODLLER'S POSITION. unreal. i can't believe this is even a subject of argument. also, why do you keep insisting on comparing a full grown individual to a toddler?
i think everyone who just saw this video would want to get a shotgun and blow that bitch's brain out just hearing that boy crying and screaming in the cold shower is so unbearable, what kind of fucking mother is that
