is it just me or does the dj's voice seem to sound distorted? anyways, the dj better watch his back, there are gonna be some pissed off muslims out there. the dj seems to have a reason to be pissed in his point of view.
the dj seems to be pretty ignorant to me.... he wholehearted believes the word of the media, does he not know how the media works.... this guy stereotypes so bad, it makes me sick, does he really believe the entire religion of Islam are terrorist. This is the fault of his own narrow-mindedness and the media inability to report everything in the world the medias of the world only choose to report "news" which will probably "sell" or gain more ratings, they cannot report every single thing in the world and so have to "select" certain news to report. As the reported news has to be chosen by someone, most likely an editor, bias is always a problem. This means that your more likely to see the media report how muslim terrorist blew up innocent people than report on how the majority of muslims are peaceful and are against any inhuman actions... its people like this that make this world such a hate filled place. in fact hes no better than the people he hates so much. he as bad as the fanatics that preach hate and death all day, he exactly the same just on the other side of the fence
I don't agree with the amount of hatred the dj had but I agree with what the dj said. He's not saying the these fanatics make up the entire religion of Islam. He's basically saing that if the side of islam that objects to these atrocities love their religion so much and disagrees with these fanatic extremists so much why arn't they doing something to stop it or at the very least show the world that they object to the atrocities that has and are still happening? Why can they be so mad and sound off so loud when it comes to a drawing, but do nothing when Islamic extremists commit all of the horrible atrocities they've commited? Is a drawing more offensive than letting children burn alive because their faces wern't covered?
to an extent you have a point, maybe the Islamic community should be more doing more about their objections to terrorism But much of the community is already vocal about how Islam does not in any way condone or support the terrorist. There are plenty of Islamic community leaders who represent the masses and do voice their outrage at terrorism and fanaticism. problem is the worlds media does not show this side as much as it shows bin laden in his cave preaching hate and roadside bombs killing western soldiers. Also it was not the entire population of Islam that protested against the paintings. It managed to get so big because those who do hate the west managed to persuade effectively against those who are impressionable and most likely ignorant too. Remember having pictures of Allah is prohibited in Islam, and so when this happened, the "fanatics" took this opportunity to try and gain support for their cause in whatever shape or form. The protests were not a full representation of Islam and to say so is just idiotic But yeh I see where you may be coming from. If they can protest against cartoons why cant they protest against the killings. However the dj does not go about this the right way, his views and attitudes are in NO way constructive and may just anger more muslims and then push them towards the sides of extremism.
