Raymond Lam (林峯) was the lucky judge at a Motor Show Babes pageant yesterday in Sai Kung's Metro City shopping centre. After the show, he happily posed alongside a racing car with the three winners. Raymond revealed that he has just returned from Malaysia, where he has been taking part in promotional events. He explained that the channels there have just finished broadcasting the original Heart of Greed <溏心風暴> and will begin airing Moonlight Resonance <家好月圓> today. He said that he had joined other cast members who had flown out for the promotion for a celebratory meal and although they only had abalone slices, it was still delicious. When asked about recent comments from veteran Michael Lai (黎小田) about Moonlight being suitable for housewives because of the arguments, but students were better of reading books instead, Raymond disagreed with the senior celebrity. He felt that the youth of today are quite beyond their years and he knows a lot of young people who have been watching the series avidly. Asked if he felt that there was too much yelling and screaming in the show, Raymond said that the audience loves to watch these argument scenes and the dialogue is quite meaningful and thoughtful. Raymond smiled that the best thing about the series airing is the opportunity to make extra money by taking on promotional jobs. He hopes to be able to buy himself a new car and a new apartment soon. However, it will be next year before he will consider buying a property because the market is quite volatile at the moment. Written by Emma Lam Source Batgwa
