Thursday November 15, 2007 Hong Kong Raymond Lam (林峯) and Fala Chen (陳法拉) attended the opening of a watch shop today and were presented with a watch each by the company. Raymond revealed that he has a collection of over ten valuable watches that have been presented to him by friends. One of his fans bought him a watch worth over HK$10,000 once and at first, he was afraid to accept it, but the fan was very insistent and he liked the watch, so he accepted it gratefully in the end. Raymond said that he will work hard to sing more songs and film more series to repay the fan's kindness. There have been reports recently that Raymond has won the attention of TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲), leading to the introduction of awards this year for the mainland's most popular actor and actress at the TVB awards this year and the rumours are that the male award has his name on it. Raymond smiled that the award is decided by an audience vote, so it is not decided by the executives or TVB and it is down to the audience to decide who will win. Fala received a white ceramic watch from the sponsors and revealed that she has never received any watches as a gift from a man, but she prefers to buy them for herself. She revealed that she bought herself a diamond necklace costing several tens of thousands of dollars earlier as a gift for herself after saving up for a year. credits: batgwa.
