anyone know what is "real" jade? I just bought one from my neighbor (she is white) for 2 bucks canadian...she said she got it from thailand from her ex-husband...now I wonder if it is a "real jade'/
Yeah, probably isn't. My family have a few pieces 'real' jade. Parents brought them over from Hong Kong over 20 years ago...
there are a lot of different kinds of jade. so if you really want to know then you should take is to an expert . post some pics for us.
You prob got the cheaper grade or artificial one. There's a few things that you need to check for if the jade is real or not. Those include color, texture, sound (should be resonance). If she wore it often, the color of the jade should grow darker if its the nice quality one.
