I don't know if any of us are any good cook. LOL Of course, I'm speaking for myself. We have some favorite foods, favorite instant noodles, etc in the food section; but, don't think I saw favorite Asian recipes before. Post some if you do.
I love noodles and one of my favorites is Pad Thai. Here is one I like. Pad Thai 8 oz. Medium-size Dried Rice Noodles ½ cup Whole Shrimp 1-2 Eggs 1 Tablespoon Dried Shrimp 2.5 oz Pad Thai Sauce 1/3 cup Extra Firm Tofu ¼ cup Vegetable Oil Water 1 tsp Chopped Garlic 1 Tablespoon (shredded) Preserved radish ½ tsp Ground Hot chilies, 2 Tablespoons Ground Roasted Peanuts ½ cup Sliced Green Onions 2 cups bean sprouts 1 minced shallot Pad Thai Sauce 1½ cup Palm Sugar 1 cup White Sugar 1 cup Fish Sauce 1 cup Tamarind Paste Directions: 1. Heat oil in wok and add garlic and shallots on medium heat until it starts to brown. 2. Add shrimp and cook for about a minute. 3. Add dried shrimp, firm tofu and stir. This push to side and crack 2 eggs into wok and stir until broken up. 4. Add noodles and a little water and stir continuously until soft and moist. 5. Add preserved radish, pad thai sauce, and fish sauce and mix thoroughly. 6. Add ground chilies or chili powder, ground peanuts, bean sprouts, and green onions 7. Squeeze little lime over noodles and serve.
