Reducing racism

A debate about racism was brought up in class today. Personally I feel that discrimination and/or ethnic preferences is partly due to human nature, and so there isn't any possible way of us completely eliminating it. I do think we should make an effort to reduce it as much as possible though. One way is by leading by example. No making hateful racist comments, and instead, try to judge people on an individual basis instead of judging them by the color of their skin.

I would like to hear your imput on this issue. What is your idea about racism in general, and what other ways can we work to reducing it?

for me i think the cause of racism is that ppl fear ppl who are different and have little knowedge of them. cartoons and tv doesnt help racism much.

 

I stopped watching Barney after I found out it was a Black man behind a purple suit.

I don't know if you posted them because you already think he is disgusting or if you decided he was disgusting after seeing the videos but I just wanted to clarify. Those videos are not him.

 

Yes, it is him. It is not a joke. Youtube is a very trustworthy source, almost as much as Wickedpedia and Fox News. Everyone knows that Clinton was responsible for the death of Optimus Prime.

He is very right wing and conservative and a lot of people might object to him but those YouTube videos are not him.

i'm racist. even if i don't want to, my parents have been telling me about other races since i was a kid, can't get it out of my head
