a smart move -- it would give the movie a very diverse cast. not a big fan of the Pitt movement; however, i have complete respect for Norton's notorious acting ability. plus, if "The Queen" joins the cast ... -thumbs up- (or at least I hope so >.>) and plus, don't mean to be blunt ... Rachel McAdams is freakin' hot. lol.
I am not that hot for Pitt either, he never quite impressed me with anything but his supposed good looks... I was all over Kevin Spacey in Se7en, Ed Norton in Fight Club... so who cares if he's not in it... But Ed Norton!!! -inlove And the potential female cast definitely got me pining for this series... I somehow adore Rachel McAdams, for some odd reason, and Helen Mirren just OWNS the limelight when she's on (see Prime Suspect for details) -clapclap
^adoring rachel mcadams for the same reasons you adore jessica biel? lol but rachel mcadams is still a pretty good actress. Still haven't watched "The Queen" yet so i don't really know how good helen mirren is but any movie with Edward Norton's gotta be pretty good, wouldn't mind a brad pitt and edward norton collabo too, reminiscence of the fight club days.
Unlike Jessica Biel, Rachel McAdams can actually ACT... So I don't think I adore her for the same reason (as my bizarre adoration for Biel) The Queen was all about Helen Mirren, you saw her vulnerability as a public figure. It was HER film, if I can say so. And you should see it, it's totally worth seeing. Ed Norton... Fight club was Ed Norton... American history X was extremely painful to sit through not because it's bad, but because it's so good you just can't/don't want to see anything actually happening... 25th hour is kind of like that, to a lesser degree. I was SO glad Ed Norton replaced Eric Bana for The Hulk sequel...
^yeah the first hulk with eric bana was boring, even though i kinda liked him in munich, the film just bored me to death lol, hopefully the one with edward norton will be better.
I don't know, after Fight Club and American History X, I am impressed by his ability to get me into the "intense" or "dramatic" mood, so I am sure it'll be a good one -tongue2
^lol i still gotta see American History X, he's playing a neo-nazi or something right, saw soo much previews on it, looks like a great movie. Well let's hope it's just not overhyped because of the actors and that the movie would actually be good.
The mood was awesome, that's all I can say. I love how it was so intense the entire way through, not unlike American Beauty (yes, I am one of those suckers who actually LIKED American Beauty)... -sweat
^i didn't really like American Beauty lol, but that was an okay film, Kevin Spacey was just a weird dude and that other guy too, the gay dude i was like wtf. If i recall correctly the ending was debated alot...
NewAzNSensation, you haven't seen American History X. i totally agree with hiake -- Edward Norton completely owned in that movie. And he was quite rip in that movie too -- so i sort of can see him playing the Hulk. primal fear is another movie of norton's. he plays a multiple-personality individual that is on trial for a murder. excellent, excellent job by norton another movie I thought Norton shined was "Death to Smoochy" i actually thought Norton did a much better job than the prestigious funny-man Robin Williams. as you can see -- big fan of Norton, but oddly enough i'm not a big fan of Fight Club. >.<
I was completely put off by certain sequences with Pitt in Fight Club... It's nice with the metaphysics going on, but didn't score THAT high on my list... I need to see that Death to Smoochy film...
