Hi im stupid so yea lol anyone know a program where i can convert rmvb files to like vcd/dvd or avi or something..

suijei, Does this program works all the time? I tried to convert Rm to DVD and the program hung frequently especially in batch mode.

How come I can't convert Rmvb file to Wmv with WinAvi ?
For example I wanted to convert The Return of the Condor Heroes from Rmvb to Wmv. But when I press on the ok button so it would dl it says "Unable to the source file" then I clicked ok and it says "Converting has been complete". But it wasnt complete. The file was still Rmvb not Wmv. Can someone help me ?

 

Never mind I found out the problem. It was because the words were in chinese that's why I couldn't convert it. LOLZ I'm so stupid. Thx god I found out the problem.

 

you can always just leave it as rmvb and watch it on the computer =)
now just get a nice 30" widescreen lcd and its all perfect hehehe

or u can always just display it on your normal tv and sound system with a couple of cables =)

 

How come after I burned the movie onto DVD and put it into the DVD player it only plays for a few second and stop. Then I tried burning it again and this time it was able to play the whole movie but it was so close. The whole DVD was playing with the movie zoomed in and no more color. Can someone please help me ? Thanks in advance.

 

How do I combine two episodes of a movie so that I can burn onto one DVD ?
My DVD can hold up to 120 minutes and one episode of the movie is only about 40 minutes. So I want to find out a way to burn both of the episodes onto one DVD. BTW I'm using WinAvi to convert and then NeroExpress to burn.
If anyone knows how please tell me.

 

I used WinAVI to convert RM to VOB then use Nero 7 to make the movie (as many episodes as a DVD-9 format can take, about 8 GB) on the hard disk, finally I use DVDCopy 2 to burn the movie to DVD. You can burn the DVD direct using Nero 7 but I like to test movie first before burning the DVD.

 

when i convert * eight heroes* using winavi, when its all done i tried burning it out so i can out it on dvd player . when i use nero to burn it , it says no compactible file was found ? o.o ? Help ?

 

Select Nero Express, select Videos/Pictures, select DVD-Files, add all the video files in the video folder created by winavi using the add button. then burn the dvd.

 

Also, as an alternative, I found a codec for media player classic.
