rmvb to vob

guys ... i need help ...... ... this is the problem ... i need to covert rmvb to vob(dvd) format ... but i used all kind of program ... none of it work ... it keep saying "format not supported"...... i used (rm converter ; winavi) i kno rm converter suppost to work but i dont understand y it said format not support wen i drag the file in... plz ... help ..... thx y

i tried it already.... i kno i asked u b4... i think the tvb is not actual rmvb format ... caz i dl (the promise) n it work for all the converter ... but only the tvb series doesnt work..... still dont kno wat the problem is ... may b u can research n c if the tvb series is rmvb format ....thx again... -worship -clapclap

 

hmmmm, as far as im aware there are types RM and RMVB for tvb series

hahaha to tell u the truth im in need of a program as well, runnin out of space, these dwnloads are eating away my space hahaha -sweat

what media player do you use to play the rmvb sound like you are missing the codec to read the file. Are you getting error message like make sure your media player support the media or somthing like it when using winavi. best if you install real player10 on your computer, your media player need to able to decode the rmvb before you can encode to vob. Hope that help.

 

so u think it's the codec?? i dont kno bout dat ... caz i have the codec pak and i have a movie also in rmvb dat can b use with winavi... so weird....

is ur file named wiv chinese characters?? manyb u need to change it to english!

 

You can use WinAVI, it works really good [;

 

yeah winavi is good
just make sure the file names are not in chinese (and the folder!)

i guess if the converting doesn't work sometimes, u can always rename the rm to rmvb or vice versa.. they all work for me (the tvb ones)

Upgraded WinAVI from 7.1 to 7.5. The converted vob file is much larger using V7.5 than using V7.1 with the same output format. Does anyone know why?

 

hie there.... i am a newbie and would like to download the tvb movies and convert it to maybe 1 dvd with 10 episodes. I heard from my fren that there is a software could make the dvd menu to let u choose which episode u wanna watch. So anyone would like to help me by letting me know the steps to make it ? convert rmvb to vob using winavi ... save the file to desktop or watever folder u prefer ... den use nero suite expressvision 2 to make the dvd .. it got the easiest setup ... guide u step by step ... the only problem is u will not get 10 eps in 1 dvd ... well... it also depended on how big the file u dl it too ...hope dis help... but if u find software dat can compress vob file let me kno ... thx...

If you use Nero Make DVD-video option, you can select DVD-9 format then you have up to 7.95GB per DVD but the picture quality will be reduced and some older DVD player will not be able to this DVD.
