is it possible to burn RMVB formated videos straight onto a DVD and is it possible to play it on a DVD too? i dont want to waste too much memory converting it and then burn it
No, your DVD player will not recognize the RMVB files. You have to convert them to .VOB files and burn it on a DVD. Programs like winavi and convertxtodvd will do the job. Another option is to buy a RMVB player that can play rmvb files without converting. You can find them @ ebay.
buyin a RMVB player that can play the rmvb files but then u need to burn them do u know any software that can this ???
You can also use "Ultra RM Converter" to convert RMVB files into DVD files (.VOB) and then burn it to DVD to watch it in your DVD player. That program cost $30 and it is downloable from their website. I have it and it is a pretty good, high quality software.
I bought the zinwell ZIN-5003 rmvb. It also plays other formats and has an HDMI port. Here is the web link http://www.zinwell.com.tw/dig_detail.php?productsid=363
or u can just alternatively get winavi and convert it into dvd from that program, it's prob the fastest converter available and quality is just as gd. it's also free if u use the link under runtohell's sig if i remember correctly.
Thank you for stating what everyone else is saying. Anyways, I'm going to suggest AVS VIdeo Tools for this, excellent quality but somewhat slow if your computer is a bit old.
A RMVB player is the way to go. No need to reconvert. Time taken is to copy the RMVB files to the Thumbdrive. I think, the RMVB player is one of my most worthwhile investment. Cannotlive without it now. ^^
Just use AVS. WinAvi or similar video converter to convert from RMVB to AVI. Use nero to burn avi files as data and majority of DVD players nowaday will plays AVI file. alternatively, go to ebay, search for rmvb players you will see plenty available. i bought one called MP5 and it plays all format beautifully.
You actually bought it? LOL. Anyways, I tried it out, its fairly fast since it supports the Athlon 64 X2 and Pentium D.
i think converting is such time wasting thing. can u imagine to convert a serie from 80 episode to able to play on ur tv i rather buy a lcd with pc entrance put an pc on it, and play those rmvb files straight away but it just me
agree with you but yet again i can't imagine why burn it to dvd, my sister replied that she can watch it when she had the time as she work in hospital.
I did saw many types of rmvb player which enable to connected to your tv and just direct play. I'm from Penang and i get it from the Hong Kong Video outlet which available from most shopping complex. Price around RM300 to RM500
