Today as I was driving home when I had to stop at the large traffic circle. I was waiting for my turn but most cars were quite fast when all of a sudden, this irate driver behind me started honking non stop. I could see from the rear view mirror that he was impatient and angry but there was really no "opening" (Seriously I am not a bad driver). Finally I managed to push through and this guy drove up beside me (still at the traffic circle) and still honking and giving me hand gestures. With my two year old in the car, all I could say was.... (tada...) "Get a life!" to which my son said "Yeah get a life. Bad man mama. So bad mama"

Gosh, thinking about it now send shudders through my spine. Guess he couldn't have done anything when there are so many cars around. I just wonder how I would have behaved if I was alone.

Have you caused road rage or have you been a victim? What goes through your mind (as a "rager")?

meh... the only thing these days truly causing me road rage are people that can't merge into traffic...

almost no one here knows how to "defend" their lanes... its ridiculous...(not to be confused with not letting people merge)
and most people don't know how to merge without slowing traffic... that bugs me the most...

other things that tweak me, but don't get too mad about include:
Drivers that insist on driving on the fast lane when cars on the slower lanes are passing them up
Drivers that don't pay attention, don't just watch in front of u... look around u...(not to be confused with rubber necking)
Drivers that drive 80mph going straight, but crawl to 55mph in slight bends...

  3. well on my driving lessons one time i was driving towards traffic lights.. which was turned just green.. and a old man (didnt knew it yet then) was driving in front of me.. out of noithing he suddenly he braked, which i almost crashed into him :S i was like WTF why the hack do you brake infront of a green light -confused , so yea i approached the car and was like &*$%&@&@

so then i saw it was a old man, and he seems kinda confused, he was watching the wrong traffic light -.- he wanted to go left but he was on the wrong lane... but hack i almost killed that guy xD his car was sooo small and old.. if i crashed in him with 50 km/h he sure was dead :S i was angry at first but also kinda happy i didnt crashed into him

i have never caused road rage..... atleast i don't think i did..... it seems to happen to me.

when i'm on my motorcycle ppl seem to not look for us motorcyclist... i get cut off sumtimes and one time i almost got hit. my reaction to these kinds of ppl r that i really get pissed off and if possible i would roll next to them, look at them, punch off their side mirror, and then i would just gun it and laugh. other times when i get cut off i would cut them back off and reach into my jacket pocket and toss a C battery at their windshield.

when i'm in my car i usually just tailgate them really bad or cut them back off or i would just let it go.

there r times where i get annoyed of some stupid drivers. i usually just yell out the window and say hurry the fuck up or whatever is rite at that time

lol yeh, i dunno its just a thing isnt it.

truck drivers dont care for anyone, car drivers dont care about motorcycles, its just the pecking order of the road lol

anyways, when people get mad at me for things im not in control of or that would make me do something dangerous and i dont wana do it. this is what i do

Go extra slow and piss em off more, then when they pass by stick your middle finger up at em and speed off laughing

thats what i did to some guy who thought i cut him up when i didnt. so i held him behind me for like a mile going at speed limit and he was desperate to over take me, but i didnt let him, then finally when i turn off the road, he comes next to me with an angry stare, and i winked at him and laughed -lol

Perhaps that guy is in a hurry to get to the loo to unload a big one!!!

Now that I think about it, I am glad I didn't lose it and start ranting off. It would serve as a bad example to him. Yes, E is pretty innocent and cute in what he said. Here's a pics of him (frowning when he disapproves and then laughing)

^ OMG HE'S SOOOOOOooOOO CUTEIEEEEEEE....!!!.....IM GLAD FOR YOU HOW YOU RESISTED THE ROAD RAGE..-flow...

I HAVE QUESTION THAT SOMEONE ASKED MEEE....AND I DIDNT KNOW THE ANSWER TO......

IF YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO PUSH THE HORN AT THE DRIVER IN FRONT AS IT MIGHT SCARE THE DRIVER....
AND YOU SHOULD NOT PUSH THE HORN IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS ....THEN WHUT IS THE HORN EXACTLY FOR...?!?!

the horn is to alert a driver of something they're doing that is dangerous... for example... forgetting to turn ur headlights on, honk someone, then flash ur lights at them, hopefully they understand...

or a more obvious one would be if they're about to hit you cuz ur in their blind spot or the idiot forgets to look...

i'm pretty sure it's not an issue pushing the horn in a residential area if there is a danger involved ;)

  15. lol i have road rage, but i have reasons to be.

where i am, there are drivers who simply should not drive.

for example, just this morning, i went to pick up my brother from tutoring, and then some car stops in the middle of the road, without turning on emergency lights. they just stopped, and cars had to swerve quickly, and almost crashed.

at pacific mall, for those who are familiar, is the perfect place to meet dumbass drivers. this morning also, some old fag was trying to pass a parked car on the right side, and went into the incoming lane, where i was, and almost hit me. happens everytime i go there.

i have road rage, i know i do because i keep swearing and shit, but people say i dont use the horn enough lol

Its very annoying when you have ppls that cant drive. I have had ppls change lanes without looking and making me brake so i wont crash into them. At Intersection when then don't look and just drive out. AND wrost of all ppls driving too slow. like driving at 40km/h at a 70km/h zone !!!! PIST ME off them ppls..

ye but surely if its a driving license u can rest assured as the instructor has brakes on his side too and if u do crash u know its not usually down to ur fault as if it was the instructor will have used the controls oh his side so u don't crash in the first place.

i agree, i hate it when you have teenagers who act hard and just stroll across the street even when they see you coming quickly. They don't care and usually show off to their friends.

That is rather poor driving, this doesn't usually happen where i live but then i guess as people drive manual cars, its harder and the driving test here i believe is prob stricter.

LOL, Pacific Mall is a death trap for both drivers AND pedestrians, I mean, I have seen cars going at like 50kmh IN the parking lot, where the foot traffic is not scarce.

I don't drive myself, but sure as hell I've got passenger side road rage -tongue2
