the only reason why i think keane was able to get his goal totals with the yids was cuz he was playing off berba... and same for berba... their best years were when they were playing together... =/

Keane is a poacher who likes to play off the target man type. He cannot lead the line on his own, he will work his socks off but won't get much done. Also Keane would like to drop into the spaces where Gerrard likes to go.

Yeah Keane needs more time to adjust to liverpool's playing style because spurs are completely different.. it seems to that liverpool attcks in some numbers and passes alot more.. where as spurs before attacks in less number relies on more effort of the strikers and wingers
And remember Keane played under 3 managers in a short period of time , that more or less has some effect

u know... if u guys had kept crouch, i don't think keane would have this much trouble w/o torres ;)

but in all seriousness... crouch can hold the ball, and he's a target man, keane would play a hell of a lot better with crouch than torres

Keane is gonna come good, but its gonna be hard for him to get the goals with the formation we playing! He's a good signing for liverpool and it shows what a squad we have now if we can go and get results like yesterday at the toon without the need for keane or torres!

Keane has been struggling but i dont think he will be in trouble. As Hing said, torres and keane needs to develop with more playing time together and i will definitely take torres over crouch.

Realli Keane never fitted in too Liverpool's play he was more deadly bck at Totteham~~ glad he's back at Spurs, cause if he stayed any longer at Liverpool he would nt be getting any more game time with Torres back in form and health

well it might seem like a bad decision by Benitez to sell Keane cos he wont have the strikers to play but theres no way Keane plays on his own upfront. he just cant play like that. he thrives from a partner in attack.
