Ron Ng Accused of Owing Louis Koo $500,000 Ron Ng Cheuk Hei acknowledged that in the past, it was Louis Koo Tin Lok who had advised him to change his career direction from a dancer to an artist. Recently a tabloid report claimed that due to Ron's relationship with Louis' younger brother, Ron used this connection to distinguish himself in his early career. Allegedly, Louis also gave Ron $500,000 (HKD) to help him through financial difficulties. The tabloid claimed that after Ron attained popularity, he did not repay Louis, but rather spent money on buying clothes, a car, and taking women out. The tabloid went as far to say that Ron betrayed Louis' kindness. Allegedly Louis decided to draw the boundary in his friendship with Ron. Reporters tried to reach Louis regarding the rumors, but his assistant said Louis was in France for an endorsement deal and could not comment. Ron did not respond directly to the rumors either. His manager said that Ron found the rumors to be a joke. However the false accusations impacted Ron's image and TVB will research and handle the matter accordingly. Ron will be filming for variety show, "The Cruelest Bell" 《殘酷一叮》next week and will address all rumors at that time. It is uncertain as to whether Ron's image has been deeply affected by recent rumors. He is currently filming "The Drive of LIfe" and originally intended to fly to New York to take dancing, acting, and English classes.
