The 33-year-old Hong Kong actor was known for his extravagant spending and his love for luxury cars, but Ron seems to have learned his lessons on saving and responsibility after two scandal-prone years while dating mainland actress Viann Zhang (張馨予). According to Apple Daily, the Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲宵II> star recently purchased a $9 million HKD flat in Bellagio, a private housing estate that is located outside the Castle Peak Road in Sham Tseng, Tsuen Wan. The 1,200-feet apartment is located in the fifth tower. Ron, currently shooting his new mainland Chinese drama in Shanghai, could barely contain his excitement as he was being interviewed over the phone. “It’s true, but I really cannot talk too much about it!” The actor admitted that this is his first time owning a home. On why he chose to purchase an estate far from the city, he said, “The scenery is gorgeous, and the environment is comforting. I have not repossessed the flat yet. I am still thinking about whether I should move in or invest in it.” Ron insisted to purchase the flat despite high market prices, saying, “I’ll consider it as an investment. I really don’t know what I’m doing, but I will be paying off the mortgage. I did not pay it all at once.” Is Ron keeping the flat for his future wife? He laughed, “[The flat’s] too small!
