Ron Ng Shamelessly Sandwiched Himself Between Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu

Rumoured couple, Myolie Wu Hang Yee (胡杏兒) and Bosco Wong Chung Chak (黃宗澤) attended a function together yesterday. The two of them initially expressed that they didn’t mind taking pictures together, but when the reporters requested for them to get closer, Bosco’s good buddy, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei (吳卓羲) became a “lightbulb” and stood between them. Reporters collectively told him to get off the stage, but he shamelessly refused to leave, making Myolie feel extremely embarassed.

Myolie, Bosco, Ron, Justin Lo Jak Tin (側田), Twins, Sun Boy’z, Paco Wong (黃栢高), and Ankie Bui On Kei (貝安琪), etc. were at Central yesterday attending the “2006 Annual Artiste Awards” 「演藝家年獎2006」 press conference. The award ceremony will be held on December 1. The winners will be selected based on reader votes and reviews from professional judges.

Many celebrities attended yesterday’s function, but the spotlight remained on rumoured couple, Myolie and Bosco. When Myolie, who had succesfully lost more than 10 pounds, made an appearance, she was immediately surrounded by reporters. She hoped to return to her previous figure by this year’s TVB anniversary. Reporters asked her whether her bust reduced in size? She said, “It did, but this is normal. At the peak of my weight gain, the size was due to flesh on my back. As long as I once had it, I’m already happy. I hope to lose a couple more inches on my hip.” Myolie was nominated for “Best Rookie Singer” and “Best Female TV Artiste”. Myolie said she doesn’t have a lot of confidence in winning “Best Rookie Singer”, but she was grateful to have even made it on the list. Would she vote Bosco for “Best Male TV Artiste”? She replied exasperatedly, “I’m not going to vote!” When asked whether Bosco had complimented her, Myolie shyly responded, “We haven’t seen each other recently, how can he compliment me? (Then did he compliment you through SMS?) If you have a chance later, you can ask him. I’ve been busy with my weight loss program, so we haven’t really kept in touch. (Would you mind taking a picture together?) It doesn’t matter.”

When Bosco arrived, he was also asked whether he was happy with Myolie’s figure. He too said, “We haven’t seen each other in a long time, because I have to work everyday. As long as it’s healthy, that’s the best!” He also expressed that he didn’t mind taking pictures together. Reporters teased Bosco with questions like, “How many hours did you mean when you said ‘a long time’?”, “If you haven’t seen each other, you can still send SMS. Did you want to break your record of 600 SMS’s?”, all of which made Bosco appear very embarassed. When he was asked to vote for a “Best Female TV Artiste”, he avoided mentioning Myolie and said, “I would vote for Liu Yi Fei (劉亦菲). Her performance was not bad. She has a pretty good chance of winning an award. Another one is Charmaine Sheh Si Man (佘詩曼). We have the same manager. She also has a chance.” Wouldn’t you be more happy if you can win with Myolie together? “We have the same manager, of course we’d be happy if we win!”

Later on, when reporters tried to convince the two of them to take a picture together on stage, this pair of rumoured couple appeared very fidgety and uncomfortable. Ron, who for a friend didn’t care about being labelled as a “lightbulb”, went and sandwiched himself between Bosco and Myolie. He said, “Let’s take a picture together!” Myolie appeared very embarassed and said, “I think I’ll leave.” Reporters then asked Ron to get off the stage, to which he wittyly replied, “Just one more shot!” In the end, Myolie and Bosco still had the opportunity to take a picture alone. Ron later explained, “I was only helping out my good bro. Standing between could help me grab some attention. Actually, Bosco called me earlier and told me do that!”

When reporters continued to interrogate Bosco and asked whether he thought Myolie became prettier, he shyly replied, “She was always pretty!”
