My boyfriend and I are currently living together but because of how things have been in these last couple of months, I really think it's time for me to let go of this relationship. I feel like I can find someone that better suits me and he can find someone who suits him better too. The problem is that we both have a contract in the apartment that we live together and the contract isn't over till September! do you think it's possible to still live together even though we have broken up? I haven't broken up with him yet but I wanna know what should I do?

Reason for break up is because I feel like we can't communicate anymore, he's too immature, too unambitious...even though we live together, we barely talk, we barely laugh together...it's just frustrating because I know how happy I would be by myself...not stressing over our problems and stuff. I know things would get better as time going by, but still....I can't stand it any longer because I deserve better!

    3 solutions:

    1. It is in fact possible to live with someone who is not your boyfriend, although I can guarantee it is going to be super awkward.
    2. One of you move out and sublet the half contract, it is possible in most places especially if you live near university campus (summer students) but you may lose like 25 bucks each month (or you may make a profit off your contract ;))
    3. Both of you move on and move out and sublet the entire place to someone else.

^Yup sub-letting half of the contract or both moving out and subletting is the best solution if u have made up ur mind abt breaking up.

But I jz wanna add that sometimes; a relationship would tend to turn sour a lil at the beginning when you are living together because you start to see the real picture and your partner's flaws are visible to you which may not be noticeable in the beginning.
So, the key here is compromise. If you can accept your partner's flaws; then you can keep going and the relationship will improve slowly. If not, it's better to break up.

P/s: I didn't vote bcoz i think u shd make the decision urself
