With his good looks, diverse acting profile, and a large fan base, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) has been a hot favorite in recent years to compete for the TVB Best Actor award. Much to the dismay of fans, the award has slipped past the 39-year-old for several years. Could this year finally mark a new breakthrough in Ruco’s success? In addition to setting a new record with his third consecutive My Favorite Actor award at Singapore’s annual StarHub TVB Awards earlier this month, Ruco has also gained recognition for his role in the popular drama, A Fist within Four Walls <城寨英雄>.
