Sunday May 27, 2007 Hong Kong Sammi Revealed her Feelings for the Past 2 Years in a Letter Sammi's 8 shows of concert has finally ended. Andy Hui sat through the whole concert and when Sammi was singing fast songs, he will stand up and dance along. When Sammi read out a letter written to herself, he cried along with Sammi. The scene was very touching. In the letter, Sammi said that after shooting <ER>, there were too many negative rumours of her and it deeply effected her. During her 2 years break, she found a different person in herself. Her new found energy in the concert was as if she ate more than a thousand 3A batteries. The night before was the last show and a lot of celebrities attended the concert such as Andy Hui, Han Hong, Andy Lau, Lisa Wong, Hacken Lee, Shu Qi, Peter Lam, William So, Ng Kwok Ging, etc. When Andy Hui arrive at 8.50pm, everyone went wild. After Andy Hui took his seat, Sammi immediately came up singing their themesong, <You Are Irreplaceble>. Sammi said that it is the last night and although she will be missing it but she is also happy and wish to thank all her friends. The audience kept shouting Andy Hui's name. Hocc was once again the guest of the concert and Sammi complimented her on her French. She joked that Hocc should teach her French one day. Hocc who spotted Andy Hui said that it is "dangerous" for her to be the guest for the last show as it requires someone like Andy Hui ! Sammi reacted with a shout and jokingly warned Hocc not to continue. Hocc then said that she was referring to Andy Lau and then told the audience that there will be more guest tonight as long as they keep shouting for it. In the end, Sammi invited Andy Lau on stage instead of Andy Hui and they kept hugging each other. Sammi even climbed on top of Andy Lau and said that he is very handsome. She also requested him to take off his clothes! Sammi appreciates that Andy flew in from Taiwan to be at her concert and said that they are the best on screen partner. Andy agrees and wish there will be a new script for the both of them to work together again. After some dancing and singing, Sammi shared her feelings and asked her assistant to give her the letter that she wrote for herself which is a few pages long. The audience shouted Andy Hui's name again and Sammi ignored them by joking. In the letter, Sammi revealed that during her break it was as if she have lost the sun. However after the rain storm and the sun rise again. All the bad things have already been in the past and what was left in her life is something beautiful. She felt her life have changed and her belief has given her a lot of inspiration. The letter ends with "You are approaching 35 ! The media has given you a tough training over the past 2 years and I know you have returned. Your courage has return. The person who will love you forever, Sammi." Sammi immediately broke down in tears. The audience, Sammi's parents, Andy Hui, Shu Qi were all in tears. Andy Lau was also very touched by her words. Sammi continued, "This concert proves that I have done it again and won over another part of myself." There were 2 encores for the last show and Andy Hui stayed on til the end. During the 1st encore, Sammi took out her beloved dried pork meat and while holding her treasure bead, joked that she is busy eating so she needs the audience's help to sing for her. Aww poor Andy Hui... Does anyone else finds this a lil bit corny besides me? I mean reading the letter written by herself lol.

Nah, I admire her courage...I would never be able to read something personal (like reading a diary or something to the world).
