Sandra has no time to go online

Ask Sandra Ng how much time she spends on her computer and chances are the Hong Kong funnywoman will tell you that she's afraid of the it.

"Honestly, I can only spend five minutes on the computer everyday," the 45-year-old Hong Kong actress says in an interview in KL.

"And that is only to check my e-mails and work schedule."

OK. She does find computer a bit useful, especially when it comes to storing cute photos of her four-year-old daughter. (The actress is married to acclaimed Hong Kong director Peter Chan, who gives us the magnificent Comrades: Almost A Love Story, The Warlords and Bodyguards and Assassins)

Funnily enough, Sandra's latest Chinese New Year comedy, All's Well End's Well 2010, discusses the beauty of social media, and how people could have benefitted from it - even when it comes to finding love.

"It's a period piece with modern elements," she says. "We use Facebook, e-mail and blog in replace of pigeons to send letters in the movie. It's slapstick and it's fun."

But forget about seeing the Hong Kong celebrity on Facebook. Or Twitter. Sandra doesn't even chat online.

"I am just so busy running my life. Aside from making movies, I've got a daughter to take care of, you know."
