If you can create synthetic proteins it seems possible that we could essentially build creatures like amoebas... how long until man starts creating multi-celled life forms? Between science like cloning, stem cells, and this, it seems inevitable that humanity will reach the point where 'Playing God' becomes a frightening reality.
