Hey ya'll I am trying to get a bigger SDHC cards for my new camera but not sure which brand is good anymore. I used to go for the known brand like Kodak and Panasonic and Sandisk; unfortunately, they don't live up to what's claimed.

For example, Panasonic Class 10 is even slower than the SanDisk Extreme (Class 6) The important part is the differences in price due to the class difference.

When I looked at Amazon earlier, I saw, Transcend, PNY, Kingston .. kinda heard of them but not familiar with the brands. There were lots of reviews .. not all positive so wanna get ya'll experts here for some suggestions.

I am looking to buy 16 to 32 gb .. for hd vid for 14 mp cam. Thus far, i am leaning towards SanDisk Extreme III.

If price doesn't matter, then go ahead and get the Sandisk Extreme, although in the past, there are always rebates on those cards. I'm currently using an Patriot 8gb Class 10 SDHC and it all depends on what kind of card reader you're using to see the difference between Class 6 and Class 10

  4. Sandisk cards aren't bad and i honestly am not a stickler for these things....

you will gain appreciation when you are using the SanDisk Utlra or Extreme card...thou cameras not req those high speed cards, you can tell the difference in the saving time after you take a photo...
like my Sony Ericsson W800i phone, I noticed a increase in performance just after one photo with it on the Utlra II card vs. the regular MSPD cards....

SanDisk 32GB Extreme Card could be expensive, MSRP is $388 and most stores are selling at $250 thou...I do have a used SanDisk 16GB Extreme Card selling for $80...since I just got that 32GB Card

  6. well.... let's see.... i usually only buy an sdhc when it goes on sale so i'm paying less than $20 for a 16gb card..... i think i can handle waiting that extra split sec it takes to save on my point and shoot.
