Korean pop artist Se7en makes his American debut today with his first single, 'Girls' featuring American rapper Lil Kim. The release of 'Girls' marks the official start of Se7en's debut into the US market. Se7en collaborated with both Rodney 'Darkchild' Jenkins (Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Beyonce) and Lil Kim to bring an edgy song as his introductory track to his upcoming album. The 'Girls' MV was directed by Dale 'Rage' Resteghini (Fall Out Boy, Diddy, TI, Li'l Wayne) who directed over 100 MVs alone in 2008. This debut has been in the making for quite some time, with hardships and obstacles for the already established artist. The launch of Se7en's campaign in America has been a long and arduous journey, but Se7en exclusively tells allkpop that it was well worth it. Se7en wanted to be fully prepared for his American debut by continuing to learn English, working with producers for countless hours and nonstop rehearsals. 'Girls' is the introductory song to Se7en's upcoming untitled album that will be released in the middle of the year along with his second single. Red Queen Media informed allkpop that 2 additional tracks are being added to the album with collaborations that will make the album completely 'bananas.' The 'Girls' MV and single will be available via his Official Myspace page and on iTunes, Rhapsody, and almost anywhere else you can download music! Se7en is one of the first Korean celebrities to crossover with the release of his single. He will continue to work hard and promote here in the US so all you allkpop ladies, give him a lotta lovin'! We will be working exclusively with Se7en, YG Entertainment and Red Queen Media to bring you more Se7en updates and exclusive events in the upcoming weeks here ONLY at allkpop!
