Recently, Sean Lau Ching Wan and Daniel Wu Yiu Cho have been filming new movie "Overheard" 《竊聽風雲》together. This is the first time that the two actors have worked together. Since Daniel greatly admires Sean as an actor, Daniel was at first nervous about the cooperation and uncertain whether the right chemistry will be produced. Fortunately, the collaboration has gone well thus far. Sean mentioned that he was impressed by Daniel’s performance in "One Night in Mongkok" 《旺角黑夜》.

Originally, Sean was scheduled to appear at the 10th Annual New York Asian Film Festival with Director Wai Ka Fai for the movie, "Written By" 《再生號》. However, at the end of the month, Sean will have to start shooting "Poker King" 《撲克王》. Since Sean will have to start training to improve his poker skills and coupled with the swine flu epidemic in the United States, Sean decided to stay in Hong Kong instead.

Sean regretted being unable to attend the 10th Annual New York Asian Film Festival. "Written By" was one of Sean’s recent favorite movies. In the movie, he acted as a blind judge, which required a lot of advance preparation for the role. Sean was deeply immersed in the character’s many emotional ups and downs, which made it difficult for him to withdraw himself from the role after shooting ending. Each day after shooting, he felt very tired. Sean believed the New York audience will recognize the depth of the character when they watch the movie.

To play the blind character, Sean learned Braille for two months. Sean laughed and said that he can not read Braille when he has his eyes open. However, when he closed his eyes and felt the raised characters, he was able to read the Braille text.
