Sharon Chan Dislikes Romantic Men

TVB’s Friendly Fire <法網狙擊> just wrapped up with peak ratings. One of the standout characters was Sharon Chan’s (陳敏之) “Mason Ngai”, who played a tomboy cop but one who also did not miss an opportunity to show off her figure as well as her 43 inch legs during various scenes.

When asked how she maintains her slim figure, Sharon revealed, “Good genes! I don’t gain weight no matter how much I eat. Haha! People will hate me for saying this – but I actually eat a lot. I’ll die if I had to follow a diet regimen. Both my brother and I are pretty tall and we don’t gain weight no matter how much we eat, but I will watch what I eat. I like sweets, but I’ll watch out for fried foods and food with a high sodium content because salt causes water retention and is generally not too healthy.” Regarding how she keeps those long legs nice and tone, she says, “Honestly, when I’m filming I don’t have much time to work out. But for an action series like Friendly Fire where I’m constantly running, that is already like working out because it tones my body overall.”

As a former model, one would assume that Sharon places heavy emphasis on her wardrobe and appearance to show off her figure. However, she is actually the opposite. “I love dressing casually and comfortably such as jeans and t-shirt. No makeup. As for my style? I don’t have one! Whatever matches and looks good on me!”

Many also did not know that Sharon is already in a committed relationship in which she does not hesitate to admit to the public. “I’m not the passive type, but I will act more girlish around my boyfriend. When the situation calls for it, I can be very tough too. I guess I’m tough on the outside but soft on the inside type of girl. I’m very realistic when it comes to dating – I want a man, not a boy. And I don’t like it when a guy is too romantic because I’ll suspect that he uses those tactics on previous relationships. As long as he shows a romantic side once in a while, I’m happy.”

When asked what the next 10 years looks like for Sharon, she happily shares, “I’ll be 40 something by then, so hopefully I’ll be married with kids. I will be grateful even to have one child because I’m afraid I don’t have the patience to be a good mom. I don’t know how I’ll feel after one kid, so maybe I’ll want another one, maybe I won’t. Even with one, I will be very thankful.”
