Two-time TV Queen, 44-year-old Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯), has found great success in her acting career, but did not have luck in finding her Mr. Right so far. Sheren has been involved in several failed relationships with veteran actors, Alex Man (萬梓良) and Kwong Wah (江華). Many started to believe that she was not interested in romantic relationships anymore. That is until recently.

Sheren appeared to be in a great mood during her concerts in Singapore and Malaysia with Michael Tse (謝天華), Nancy Sit (薛家燕), and Ngo Ka Nin (敖嘉年). When asked if her good mood was attributed to a new relationship, Sheren smiled and said, “My mood hasn’t changed. I am not in a hurry to date anyone. I still have confidence in love. However, at my age, it’s really not easy to find someone who is single, straight, close to my age, able to communicate and get along with me.”

Once the rumors about Sheren spread, the media and her friends and family have been contacting her about her new found love. Sheren said, “Even friends from the United States have been calling me because they all want me to find the right guy. They are really curious to know who I am dating. I just told them to come to Hong Kong in November to find out more.”

Sheren’s mother is also very eager for her to find a boyfriend, and even called to question her whether the news is true or not. She told her mother maybe she can help by praying to God. All joking aside, Sheren is thankful that everyone is concerned about her romantic life.

Looking back, Sheren believes her failure in handling past relationships was due to her immaturity. She was willing to do everything for love. Now as she is more mature and wiser, Sheren is waiting to see how she will handle the next relationship. She is also concerned that her partner may not able to deal with the pressure of the limelight. “May be someone who lived abroad and doesn’t feel pressured on rumors and gossips,” Sheren offered.

Not starring in “Rosy Business 3″ is God’s Plan

As a Christian, Sheren believes that God has made plans for her love life and her acting career. Therefore, she is not upset about not starring in one of TVB’s most anticipated sequels, Rosy Business 3 <巾幗梟雄 3>. Sheren also thinks producer Lee Tim Shing (李添勝) has made the right decision for not casting her in the series, as it will be difficult for the scriptwriter to write another love story with Wayne Lai (黎耀祥).

As for the rumor of her deteriorating relationship with TVB, Sheren denies this, pointing out that she has just completed Beauty at War <金枝慾孽 (貳) >, and wants to rest up before negotiating further contracts with TVB.
