Current Pocky Princess Shiori Kutsuna will make her movie debut next spring in "Shugotenshi," the latest effort from director Yuichi Sato ("Kisaragi"). The film first made the news back in May, when it was revealed to be the first starring role for comedian Cunning Takeyama. The 15-year-old Kutsuna plays the tragic heroine, a high school girl who winds up involved in an internet crime and is abducted. The protagonist, played by Takeyama, is a useless salaryman who falls in love with her during his commute to work, and who ends up rescuing her. Through his heroic deed, he wins back the love of his wife (Shinobu Terajima). In addition to her Pocky ads, Kutsuna is the current Mascot Girl for Unitika. She already has some acting experience in television dramas, including last season's "Taiyou to Umi no Kyoushitsu." "Shugotenshi" is scheduled to open this coming spring. credit: tokyograph
