Andy Lau (劉德華) is recovering well and happily, according to good friend and fellow actor, Simon Yam (任達華). On Tuesday, Simon went to visit the bed-ridden Andy at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, where he has been hospitalized since January. Simon told reporters that Andy is as good as new, and “looking like little fresh meat.” In January, Andy fell off his horse while shooting a commercial in Thailand, severely injuring his lower back. He has been hospitalized ever since. Over the past few months, many of Andy’s close family and friends visited him, including his Five Tiger buddies Michael Miu (苗僑偉) and Felix Wong (黃日華). On Tuesday afternoon, Simon Yam showed up at the hospital to pay Andy a visit. When he left, reporters asked Simon about Andy’s current condition, who replied, “He looking like ‘little fresh meat.’ He has great skin. At this rate of recovery he’s going to be back very soon. He doesn’t even need to put makeup on to look good.” (Did he tell you when he’s going to be discharged?) “No.” Is Andy able to sit and stand now? “Little fresh meat are able to do everything!” exclaimed Simon. “Don’t worry everyone, this little meat is doing well!” Creds: stheadline
