Stephy Tang and her assistant have been confirmed having contracted H1N1 infection. Stephy were attending many functions without wearing facemask even when she had a temperature. That led to the entertainment circle starting a panic and everyone was worried they would get infected. Miriam Yeung performed in the "Metro 18 sound and light concert" with a sore throat two nights ago, and she is still not recovered. Kay Tse has been reported having a cold; Charlene Choy had diarrhea and Gigi Leung was singing in a hoax voice too. In fact, they were all not feeling well one after another. Miriam heard that Stephy had caught H1N1 virus, she said "What can we do? This illness is curable, just rest and take medication." Talking about Stephy attended the concert when she was not well, Miriam responded "We are all in the same boat, we need to take vitamin pills to maintain our health. I have been unwell lately, therefore I don't go to places where there are lots of people. I go to bed early and taking vitamin supplement." Miriam went on to say that when she was cutting the cake, Stephy's colleague Justin Lo was there "Justin pushed me and we all cheered. I wish Stephy a speedy recovery." Charlene had diarrhea and feeling cold too, although she stressed that she hasn't got a temperature or sore throat. She suspected she had eaten the wrong food, stating that she hasn't got H1N1 infection. "I am worried about Stephy." Reporter asked if she had asked Ronald Cheng to be careful? Charlene replied "Everybody has to to careful." She found out that Stephy wasn't wearing a facemask when she was ill, Charlene sighed "Artists are not used to be wearing facemask, its a lesson to learn. Even though you have a fever, sometime you can't stop working. We need to pity Stephy but not prejudice against her." Charlene went on the say when she is unwell, she wears a mask, but usually takes it off when she is facing the screen. Kay saw Stephy last saturday (15th). She told reporter "I had a cold for a week now, I still haven't recovered, my throat is hurting too." Kay expressed that she has been staying away from her son because she doesn't want to infect him. Talking about earlier, the audience shouted at her saying "Kay Tse, don't sing out of tune", Kay responded "I wasn't feeling well, I have problem with my vocal cord, leading to me singing out of tune. But it is improving." Kay added that she is very tired and has asked Chan Kit Ling for advice way of maintaining good vocal cord. Source: MingPao
