More girl groups are scheduled to debut/comeback and so far, it seems like its the year of female groups, including female solo artists – yet again. Other than 2AM, CNBLUE and BEAST, there seems to be more female artists who have had big success so far this year as we’ve seen with HyunA of 4minute, T-ara, Kara, SNSD and After School. With even more girl artists scheduled to comeback including Lee Hyori (April), Secret (April), Rainbow, 2NE1, Son Dambi (Mid-May) and Wonder Girls, it seems like this year will be full of girl power once again. Remember the two upcoming girl groups SISTAR and Nine Muses? Well, it’s been revealed that SISTAR will make their debut during April with music produced by hit composer Bang Shi Hyuk. Nine Muses, who we reported to be debuting in the latter half of this year, seems to have pushed foward their debut date to this coming May. Furthermore, it’s been revealed that more girl groups will make their comeback including f(x) and LPG (April) and 4minute (May). Also, like we’ve seen with Rain, it seems like Davichi, who originally planned to return in May, will delay their comeback date due to the recent tragedy of naval ship sinking. Hopefully, the latter half of this year will be full of male power with male artists and groups such as Se7en, Super Junior, SHINee, Big Bang and 2PM making their comeback. Aren’t you guys excited?
