SKE48 has announced that they will be having their first national tour this summer! On April 29th, they held a concert at Zepp Nagoya titled, “What SKE48 can do right now” and made the announcement after their encore number. Despite the fact that it was an afternoon concert, fans went crazy after the announcement of their first national tour. The tour will begin with two dates on June 27th and 28th in Nagoya and will hit a total of six cities along the way. Member Matsui Jurina commented, “I started to cry...” SKE48’s fifth single “Banzai Venus” was their first single to hit the number one spot on the ORICON weekly singles chart. Matsui Rena commented, “We are happy to be able to visit Sendai during our tour. We have a special connection with them especially because we shot our music video for our fourth single there.
