SMAP member Katori Shingo is the new image character for Dole’s latest “Dole Banana” CMs! In the CM, the boys of SMAP – who were mostly unaware of what was being filmed – will have their dressing room invaded by Katori and “Team Banana Smile”, surprising the members with their absurdity and making them smile in the most sincere way. “After the earthquake, we hope to energize a Japan that’s lost its vigor. The bananas will make everyone smile,” said SMAP when asked about the concept of their latest endorsement. Katori also commented, “I put life into the members of SMAP and made them smile.
