After just one week since their official comeback, symptoms of a nationwide ‘Hoot‘ syndrome are already showing, with SNSD currently taking the #1 spot of almost every music chart site, even on ring tone sites. SNSD’s mini-album ‘Hoot’, which was unleashed on October 27th, has been ranked #1 on Hanteo, Hot Tracks, and other various other music online charts for two weeks in a row now, showing hints of another phase of SNSD’s dominance. In addition, their title track ‘Hoot’ nabbed the #1 rank on the daily charts of music sites Dosirak, Bugs, Soribada, Monkey3 for the first week of November, and is still going strong in its 2nd week in first place. If that’s not enough, SNSD’s ‘Hoot’ is even topping the charts of SKT’s daily chart for ring tones, showing exactly how much the nation is becoming addicted to the hit song. SNSD also won a K-Chart on KBS 2TV Music Bank on November 5th, as well as a ‘Mutizen’ award on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 7th.
