oday it was announced that the upcoming Japan tour of Shoujo Jidai got extended to 10 performances, giving 40,000 more people a chance to see the nine girls live. Their Japan tour was supposed to start in Tokyo on May 18th, but like many other artists, they had to postpone and rearrange their tour due to the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March. Now the first performance is going to be in Osaka on May 31st, but in order to make up for the delay, they added two more cities to their schedule. Instead of seven performances in four different cities, fans can now look forward to a total of 10 performances in six different cities. The two new venues are Saitama Super Arena (June 4th & 5th) and Hiroshima Green Arena (July 2nd). Of course, people will be able to use their previously purchased tickets for the alternate dates, and those that didn’t manage to get their hands on a ticket now have the opportunity to get one for the three new performances. And there is more! Those who buy Shoujo Jidai’s new single, “MR. TAXI / Run Devil Run” (April 27th), will find a coupon inside that allows them, if they are fast enough, to purchase specially reserved tickets for any of their performances. The members said about the tour, “It was always our goal to go on tour in Japan, and it makes us really happy that it’s finally going to happen now. We are looking forward to eating many delicious things all over Japan.” Source: Tokyohive, Sanspo
