does any 1 know any software that i can get for free to unlock samsungs or sony ericssons?-sweat thanks in advance
samsung.. probably can unlock by code.. but sony ericsson... must be by software.. if your in the US, and u brought the phone from cingular/att, call them, saying your going oversea, they might email u the code.. not sure will it work.. never tried..
Theres a standard unlock code for majority of samsungs. Which models exactly are you looking to unlock?
well the temp unlock code you can try it.. works on some samsung.. *2767*2878# try it it should work. once you press it, your phone should freeze up and then it will automatically reboot itself, but if you power it down, the unlock will be gone but you can press it again to unlock..
alrite it came up "E2P custom reset" then now when i try put in a T-mobile sim it say limited service? btw im in the uk
Theres 2 more codes that you need to put in after the reset. The whole time that you are doing this, the foreign sim must be in.
From past experiences, that code should work permanently in regardless of any sim cards. However, there are some phones that would require those codes again when you switch to another carrier.
Insert a different carrier sim card. It will say phone restricted or enter unlock code. Enter 1st code, phone should reboot. After reboot, enter second code, "network personalized" will appear. Enter 3rd code, phone should be unlocked then and you should be able to use any sim card with that phone.
