I really like the taste of fresh soy milk but dont like the soy milk from the market like silk soy milk. My mom makes it sometimes but very labor intensive. Can someone recommend a soy milk machine (brand and where to order from online)? My price range is around $100. Thanks
http://www.soymilkmaker.com/ try that site. I agree that making soy milk is very labor intensive. Even with this machine I think the cooking of the soy milk will take a lot of time too...good luck...
Fresh soymilk is so good, I live close to a place that make fresh soymilk and other soy products, so there is no need for me to make my own. I don't like the american style soymilk, it doesn't taste the same or something.
2 much sugar from store. made some from beans liked more pulp, cheap cheese cloth strainer. used honey 2 add mild sweetness.
i had a soy milk machine but it started burning the soy milk after a week of use. Actually, its the same thing if you use a blender. Simply soak the soy beans for a few hours, then add a cup of soy beans into the blender with water, then use a net to drain the soy milk into a pot then bring it to a boil. Voila, thats it!
thats how i make my soy milk but i dont use a net..i use like a cloth thing ^^ an even though the process sounds long..it really didnt take that long..it took like just a hour...but it is a bit 'a labour intensive' cos i have to press really hard on the cloth to drain the liquid out... but to the OP...if u havent got a soy milk machine yet....i'd suggest u to get one of the cloth thing or a net an just make it yourself...its cheaper an worth it
