Last October, Hong Kong TVB actor, Stefan Wong (黃長興), stunned his girlfriend, Peggy, with a marriage proposal in Toronto, Canada. Peggy tearfully agreed to marry Stefan. Juggling his TVB acting schedule and management of his French restaurant, Stefan has been busy planning their upcoming wedding celebrations in France and Hong Kong. Yesterday, the couple took their wedding photos. After submitting their dates and hours of birth to a feng shui master, an auspicious wedding date has been selected for Stefan and Peggy. The couple will be obtaining their marriage certificate in France on July, 23, 2012, followed by a small celebration with the family and friends at a castle in Bordeaux, France. Stefan received the sponsorship of a French red wine brand for his dream wedding in France, while he will be paying a 6-figure sum for his relatives and friends’ plane tickets and hotel accommodations to travel there. The couple’s wedding banquet will be held at the InterContinental Hong Kong hotel–offering breathtaking views of Victoria Harbor–on March 16, 2013. Stefan appeared to be a detailed planner, as the 33-year-old had constructed a highly romantic marriage proposal reminiscent of an episode from The Bachelor, taking weeks to plan and involving actors and props. Thus, the wedding planning should not serve as a daunting task for him. He already owned a house, a car, and a restaurant. Although he desired having children, Stefan will wait until after getting officially married. Peggy’s mother considered the pair to be officially wed after the wedding banquet takes place. Stefan said, “I have already waited for so long, so I do not mind waiting a bit more. I have wished to have children for a long time. When it is 100% possible, then we will proceed. It is not that good to be pregnant and have a wedding celebration simultaneously!” Peggy echoed Stefan’s sentiment regarding having children. She hoped to have a pair of twins. Peggy’s engagement ring was a stunning 2-carat diamond ring, which she wore at yesterday’s wedding photo shoot, which was sponsored by My Dream Wedding. The bride-to-be has been stressed with the wedding planning, in which her skin became highly sensitive and broke out. When Stefan’s “car friends,” Michael Tse (謝天華) and Timmy Hung (洪天明) Janet Chow (周家蔚), Alex Fong (方中信) and Carlo Ng (吳家樂) realized that Stefan and Peggy were taking their wedding photos yesterday, they dropped by the photo shoot to show their support.
