Stefanie Sun prepared for motherhood The local Queen of Pop, whose relationship with a man from Holland was exposed recently, revealed that she is prepared to raise her own children and may be married anytime this year. 30-year-old Stefanie Sun said that marriage is not among her life plans at the moment but does not resist the idea of marrying this year. Sun, who admitted to her relationship with Hollander Nadim Van Der Ros, an Aviva senior executive, expressed that they are in a stable relationship. Her previous relationship with local Dennis Foo ended after she stirred media attention which led to troubles between themselves. Once bitten, twice shy; Sun is now more reserved about her relationship. She said, "Things get magnified when you reveal too much. It may be fine when you discuss it now but everyone is waiting for the day when our status changes. I really think that this is a vicious cycle so I don't want to talk about it now." In Sun's opinion, marriage is just a formality and the certificate is not a lifelong warranty of the relationship. "You tend to find flaws in each other over time. I think we should not just think about the bad things of each other when we quarrel," she explained. Sun had been enjoying the past two years dating. She was initially worried about her career and did not know if she should continue working. In addition, sourcing for a new record company was tedious and she just felt like taking a longer break. Returning to the stage after two years, Sun now projects a stronger persona. "I feel that I've broken free of all restrictions. Actually it's an accumulation of trivial things, like the hair and the album cover photos my hair, life and music is now a better picture of who I really am."
