Sunday November 18, 2007 Hong Kong Harlem Yu (庾澄慶) was the latest guest to take part in Stephen Chan (陳志雲)'s chat show Be My Guest <志雲飯局>, which was filmed today, with a guest appearance from resident chef Chow Chung (周中). Harlem said he was happy for Stephen to ask him about anything, but whether or not he replies will depend on how he feels. He said that as a man, he should concentrate his discussions around work and not talk too much about his family and personal life. Asked about his feelings after winning the best host award at the TVB Anniversary awards yesterday, Harlem said that it was like the icing on the cake after the popularity of the show. He also revealed that he is planning his schedule to return for a second series next year, but it is still in conceptual stages at the moment and he hopes that there will be some improved content. Rumours that have been sparked of by the results of the awards and there is much suspicion of favouritism for TVB managed artistes after many of Stephen's favoured artistes, such as Amigo Chui (崔建邦), Kate Tsui (徐子珊) and Fala Chen (陳法拉) were presented with awards. Asked about this and why hot favourite to win Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) lost out to Kate for the most improved female artiste, Stephen pointed out that Bernice is also a managed artiste. Stephen also explained that the audience vote only represented 30% of the score, so the public's view may not totally influence the outcome. 20% of the scoring is from the producers' vote with the remaining 50% decided by the judging panel of industry professionals. He revealed that Amigo's score was very close to that of Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿) and there were only 500 votes between them in the audience vote figures.
