happened to me twice lol, there was also REM for me, but i was totally paralyzed. It was ironic that i was researching sleeping paralysis right before it happened, i guess sleeping paralysis is a psychological thing.
i have experience something that seems to not have a name... my body has fallen asleep but i am still conscious... how i can tell....? i was on the train and i "dozed off" but i can still think to myself like talk to myself in my head and hear things going by me and the train announcing my stop but when i tried to get up my eyes wouldn't open and my body basically was asleep... it took a friend who happen to get off that last stop to push me before i "woke up" again and was able to function normally... yeah it was weird......
