Focusing primarily on her movie career lately, Stephy Tang (鄧麗欣) has been accepting role after role non-stop. She is currently busy filming a new movie directed by Patrick Kong (葉念琛) and beginning preparations for another collaboration with Chapman To (杜汶澤) in his new movie, learning Muay Thai and karate. It was reported that Stephy’s contract with her current company Sun Entertainment will expire by the beginning of next year and rumoured that she didn’t want to be in the same company as her ex-boyfriend Alex Fong (方力申) and so she has plans to “jump ship”, however Stephy did previously state she was in talks of extending her contract. Sun Entertainment boss Paco Wong (黃柏高) expressed over the telephone that he and the company does wish to continue their working partnership with Stephy, but will respect her decision as long as she is happy. Paco denied Alex being the reason and stated that he has never asked Stephy but she is a mature independent artist now, she knows what’s best for her career so all lies in Stephy’s decision. ~~~ cred: oncc
