There were more updates yesterday on Steven Ma's early contract termination with TVB. According to the news, Steven has already made his decision and implied he didn't have a good relationship with Virgina Lok. Reporters contacted Steven over the phone for clarification. He admitted he is currently discussing with TVB about the contract termination, but declined to reveal any details: "I will not say too much, let TVB handle it. (The Contract termination?) It is indeed about a contract termination." As Virgina Lok said, Steven requested to leave TVB close to the TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony, it was said that it was his 'special request'. That's pretty disappointing. He's a pretty good actor in my opinion. Hopefully he may come back one day.
If you think about it Steven Ma hasn't been in an award winning series in the longest time ever. He is like a second line lead actor among the first line lead actors.
Another good actor leaving TVB. TVB really needs to look at how they are handling their artists if they want to keep them from leaving. For most it sounds as if they are leaving with disappointment and anger rather than on good terms.
Another good actor and one of my favorite is leaving too, these executives need to make a better environment for actors but they are playing these stupid games, if your aren't on my side than your career is in jeopardy.
I think you're right about this, but he's still one of the best actors in Hong Kong and if he goes to China than we won't see or hear much of him anymore. That's pity
