Stupid football fan fail

  1. THIS Liverpool lad was left red-faced after a ball he threw onto a pitch during a Premier League game led to his side conceding a vital goal.

The cheeky fan smacked the beach ball onto the field at the Stadium of Light while watching his Liverpool side play Sunderland today.

But to the boy's - and most of Liverpool's - horror Sunderland striker Darren Bent then let fly with a shot which bounced off the beach ball and past 'keeper Jose Reina into the Liverpool goal.

It was the only goal of the game which The Reds lost 1-0 - seemingly crushing their slim title hopes.
We're going to bet this lad won't be the most popular person on the train back down to Liverpool!

    WHAT HAPPENED

HOW IT LOOKED FROM ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE.

How could that count as a goal tho?
    It was clearly interference

  3. ^ yeah from their own team, the team that scored the goal did no wrong so they cant have their goal taken away.

i don't think the fan's ball was counted as a goal,i would have heard about it and it seems that the game's ball reached the net

^just that the fan's ball was not counted as a goal

  10. na, not the orange beach ball, but the football bouncing off the beach ball and going in the net does count as a goal.

If it wasn't for that point, the game would have lasted so much longer =[
