The cheeky fan smacked the beach ball onto the field at the Stadium of Light while watching his Liverpool side play Sunderland today. But to the boy's - and most of Liverpool's - horror Sunderland striker Darren Bent then let fly with a shot which bounced off the beach ball and past 'keeper Jose Reina into the Liverpool goal. i don't think the fan's ball was counted as a goal,i would have heard about it and it seems that the game's ball reached the net
na, not the orange beach ball, but the football bouncing off the beach ball and going in the net does count as a goal.
i think everyone i know whos seen that goal laughed, it probably wasnt fair that the goal was given but who cares, liverpool aint going to challenge for the title.
