I have recently got a new mobo since my other one fried somehow and now i have a problem with the audio with my pc, when i listen to music or watch a film i notice a slight very slight static noise this however didnt both me much but its been a few weeks now and this problem seems to getting worse, when im listening music the music seems to getting slower as if my cpu is struggling to playback music lol and the music seems to get distorted randomly or a second of fuzz along with some static this seem to occur most offten, at least 5 fives in a song

anyone know what this problem is, i dont know what to google correctly of my problem.

i have a soundblaster audigy got a year ago

    Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR iP45

should i try taking out my soundcard and use my onboard sound to seem the difference?

this shouldn't be a question, when a problem arise, install it to another system to see if you can replicate the problem =)

when i have had constant static in speakers before, it was due to bad earthing either in the PC or because of a peripheral plugged into it like an external USB HDD

check if you have recently installed any codec software. If u did uninstall it and see if it will solve the problem. You didn't say what type of media software you were using? Did you try to open with other software??? Windows Media Player/Winamp/Itune/Real Player/VLC/Real Alternative???
