Marebito ( The Stranger From Afar ) Masuoka is a cameraman possessed by the craving to understand fear--what it is and where it ultimately leads. He wanders the Tokyo streets, a voyeur, hungrily looking for clues. Obsessing over the haunted expressions of the faces he has captured in his daily filming, in particular a man who committed a grisly suicide on the metro. Japanese/Korean horror flicks are getting boring. They've always got a skinny, young woman w/ the long black hair covering the face, pale white skin, reddish-tinged eyes, and white long-sleeved dress. Ho-hum. Didja notice many latest Asian horror films have other possessed tangibles, such as wig, shoes, camera etc. gimme a break. Next, it'll be possessed clothes, fake eyelashes, ipods, or who knows what....*laff* Anyway, thank you for sharing.
