Sydney's Sarah Song is Miss Chinese International 2007

The ‘2007 Miss Chinese International Pageant’ was held last night at Foshan. Underdog, (12) Sarah Song of Sydney took home the winner’s crown and the ‘Chinese Culture Ambassador’ title. Hot favourites, (20) Ivy Lu and (4) Sherry Chen were the first and second runner ups. Hong Kong’s representative, (2) Aimee Chan was unable to make Hong Kong proud as she did not perform well and was even unable to make it into the top 5.

Miss Chinese International 2007, Sarah Song is 21 year old student and her measurements are 33, 22, 34. Her performance last night was steady, after being questioned by Eric Tsang, she made it through to the top 5 and her later performance with a hulla-hoop was also not bad.

Sarah is quite shocked about winning the pageant. She was already satisfied that she was able to enter the top 5 and did not think she would be able to win the crown.

Ivy Lu, sister of last year’s winner, Ina Lu, is 22 years of age and has measurements of 32.5, 22, 33.5. She had hope to follow in her sister’s footsteps but unfortunately she only won the first runner-up crown. Ivy expressed that she is not saddened by this because she was still able to enter the top 3.

Sherry Chan is a student at a university (previously attended by Taiwanese model, Chiling) and is 23 years old. Sherry has also been said to look like the famous model. Her measurements are 33, 24, 35.

Hong Kong’s Aimee Chan’s performance was quite bad because in her answering section, she was unable to explain Hong Kong slang words.
