Thursday March 22, 2007 Hong Kong Invested at HK$200 million, involving 30,000 over temporary actors, acted by Japanese star Takashi Sorimachi & Korean actress Ara, The Blue Wolf, had a press conference in HK yesterday. The 2 leads, executive producers were also present. More than 100 media were present. The producer said the movie has been sold to 40 countries, & 10 over countries are under negotiation, it has already recover the cost. Takashi appeared relaxed at the press conference. Since the shooting of The Blue Wolf, many do not view favorably with this Japanese person acting as the Chinese emperor. The entertainment was also a buzzed with comments. The two actors after the press conference @ Causeway Bay Exhibition & Convention center rushed to the Admiralty Tai Ku Sq for the premiere. Before that hordes of Sorimachi fans had gathered awaiting his arrival. The fans were charmed by his soulful eyes & good look. Red carpet was laid to show the importance of the 2 stars. When the ceremony was ending, the appearance of a special guest raised the atmosphere, Andy had come to support this old friend of his. Hmm.. so they don't like a Japanese person portraying a Chinese person and they don't like a Chinese person portraying a Japanese person.. Tony Leung portrays a Japanese person in Ang Lee's latest film.. I wonder why I haven't read anything about any discontent regarding that??
