Chinese actress Tang Wei visited Korea over the weekend, igniting rumor that she may be dating Hyun Bin, her co-star of film "Late Autumn," who is on leave from the military since Saturday. Tang Wei showed up at the guest visit event for the final screening of the pic held in Seoul without prior announcement of her participation, while Hyun Bin is on a five-day leave from his services, his first since joining Korea's Marine Corps in early March as part of fulfilling the country's two-year mandatory military services. This has led fans to speculate that the two, who were lovers in "Late Autumn," are an actual couple and that Tang Wei arranged for her trip to fall in line with Hyun Bin's time off from his duties. However, KT&G Sangsangmadang, host of the final screening for "Late Autumn," said they were unable to notify the public of Tang Wei's visit in advance because the guest visit was planned on late notice and they were not certain of the actress's visit. Hyun Bin's agency AM Entertainment downplayed the rumor as well, saying that Tang Wei was in Korea to shoot a television commercial. "[Her schedule] Is completely unrelated to her personal acquaintance to Hyun Bin so please refrain from making unreasonable guesses." Hyun Bin has spent time with his actor friends however, having dinner with Jang Dong-gun and Han Jae-suk, AM explained. He will spend the rest of his vacation with his family. Hyun Bin, who entered the military on March 7, left the training center for the Marine Corps after seven weeks of training. He has been assigned to serve on 6th Marine Brigade on Baengnyeong Island, a frontline island on the Yellow Sea border with North Korea. Currently 28, Hyun Bin, whose real name is Kim Tae-pyung, rose to fame after starring in smash hit series "My Name is Kim Sam-soon" alongside actress Kim Suna in 2005. He became one of the most sought-after actors in Korea early this year after starring in smash hit SBS TV series "Secret Garden" and just ahead of entering the military, released "Late Autumn," tells of the brief encounter between a male gigolo named Hoon (played by Hyun Bin) who is on the run and Anna (Tang Wei) who gets a pardon for three days from the jail she has been serving in for the past seven years for murdering her abusive husband. What? The media has nothing better to speculate than this??? Considering how careful HB and his management was in releasing his breakup with SHK/creating a good image before his conscription, I really doubt this is true.
