First time when I met Tavia Yeung, her beauty did not give me a wrong impression.

Jump out from doll style, she does not look like big chest Ah Mei in Dicey Business and does not have strong character like Ah Yuet in Moonlight Resonance anymore. Tavia Yeung, who is right in front of me has her own natural beauty and does not need to add anything to build confidence of herself. Tavia Yeung does not show off in her speech and thinking. These type of beauty makes her look more sexy, comfortable and healthy.

Tavia Yeung felt that beauty depend on one self’s point of view. For her, her outlook was considered pass. For her, outsiders might not have the chance to see an artiste’s real look. This was because when artistes met outsiders, they will put on make up and will not let other peoples to catch a glance at their real look. She said, “If I have to give marks, I have to give after I remove my make ups. Therefore, I will give 70% for my look. 30% is deducted because of my lacking sleep look.

Still, is it beauty marks have to depend on someone’s outlook?

Of course not. Beauty has life and does not depend on someone’s outlook only. It should depend on someone’s life and should include someone’s feelings, life and taste. This type of beauty represents someone’s inner beauty.


Tavia Yeung’s close sister relationship is the best beauty

Tavia Yeung felt that her most beauty part included her sister, Griselda Yeung. “Our close sister relationship has 90 marks.” When she said that, her face was full of smiling expressions. Griselda Yeung’s jobs were mostly on hosting TV program and seldom appeared in TV series. Therefore, outsiders felt that Tavia’s career development was better than her sister.

Still, Tavia’s popularity did not cause any problems between Tavia Yeung and her sister’s relationship. Her sister hopes that Tavia’s career development will be better than her own and this goes the same on Tavia. The Beauty Of Career Comes From Humbleness

From 10 years ago until now, she did not put popularity and wealth at the first place. That time, Tavia Yeung did not know what entertainment circle is about and never think that she could get anything from this field. That time, she thought, “No harm playing. If it is not suitable, then I can do other things.”

As she is lack of stubbornness and wild ambitions, therefore she can have a healthy thinking and can work happily in this field.

Tavia’s first job after she graduated from training class was Justice Sung II. That time, she played a minor nun role without dialogues and just need to knock mokugyo in temple and actually did not have much screen times.

After struggled for 10 years, finally Tavia Yeung could have the feeling of receiving awards. However, she did not feel proud of it. Best Supporting Actress award gave motive force for her to strive harder for her career. She did not relax after she received the awards and eventually hoped that she can try more challenging roles in future.

From a minor role without dialogues until the Fa Dan now, what is her gain and loss between her struggling?

As age approaching, it means that youth will disappear slowly. Tavia Yeung put a lot of efforts and time on her career because she knew that entertainment field needs time to gain popularity and success. Time is the tool and therefore, she would not say that there was loss because at the same time, she gained money and popularity from the time she contributed. This has changed her family’s life condition and she could give a better life condition to her mother and this was actually what Tavia Yeung was pursuing.

The only thing was just that she felt that there was no time to accompany and to get along with her family. However, Mrs Yeung did not mind and even always worry whether her daughter has enough sleep, wears enough clothes and eats well or not. She felt that her mother has contributed a lot for her as she made her mother worries for her all the time.

Other than that, she said that she lost a lot of sleeping time but she believed that she will be able to gain it back one day.

For her, best Supporting Actress award did not led to any marks increment in her career. At first she put 70% but after considered for a while, she felt that the marks were too high and finally she said, “Only 60 over %.”

“How come you are so harsh to yourself?”

“I’m not asking too much of myself. It is just that I hope that I will do better of myself. If I give myself 80% and 100% are full marks, then the space left for my improvement will be very limited. I do not know what I can do in such a limited space.”

Tavia Yeung used lower marks to encourage herself to work hard in presenting herself and to do better in her career.

She knew that to gain a better success needs a longer time and maybe even in a lifetime she may not be able to reach her own target of 100%. However, at least she knew that she will improve to 90% in her upcoming 10 years.

Other than beauty career, her beauty also comes from her humbleness and she will not feel proud after gaining an award.

Brand names doesn’t mean taste.

Tavia Yeung’s life is simple. She does not chase luxurious life. The most basic life enjoyment for her is to give her mother a treat in an expensive restaurant after she earns some money. Even abalone and shark fin are not a problem. However, she does not need this type of life everyday. Once a while is enough and as long as they eat before and remember the taste is enough.

Tavia Yeung is an artiste. Her income can give her basic life needs. However, she felt that one’s target should not be just the minimum. This is because the level of life is increasing everyday. When she earns enough money, she will be able to change from a small house to a bigger house and can give her family a more comfortable place to stay. Pursuing for basic needs of life is to increase her life demands and to give encouragement for her to work harder in her career.

Regarding outfit, brand names are necessary in entertainment industry. However, brand names although are expensive, but they do not represent taste. Tavia Yeung felt that most important for an outfit is comfortable and nice. Clothes are our necessities in life but brand names are not. It is just a tool for exchange and a satisfaction of materialistic.

Behind the screen, Tavia Yeung will not getting worried anymore about wearing unbranded T-Shirts or jeans in front of reporters as this will not affect her image.

Artistes are also normal people and therefore an artiste’s life is also same as normal people. She said, “Chow Yun Fatt took MTR in Hong Kong. Nobody felt it was strange and they will just felt that a famous artiste will take MTR and is so close with HK citizens.

She grew up in Hong Kong. Therefore, she would not feel that after she became an artiste, she would have distance with HK citizens. “At least we breathe the same air in this earth. I did not breathe a more expensive air or extraordinary fresh air.”

She did not like the feel of being treated as a high position artiste. She rather that when she talks to other peoples face by face, other peoples will feel that she, Tavia Yeung is friendly. For Tavia Yeung, someone should not have level differentiation. Therefore, their behaviors would not show out high position feel to other peoples.

Tavia Yeung has good taste in life because she knows how to use heart to feel. She did not lost the way in the attractions in this field but use “I’m an ordinary person.” instead to continue her life in this field. .

Love needs time to develop

Definitely there will be gain and loss in this field. Love is something that she lost. Tavia Yeung said that she will not find someone from the entertainment circle. Outsiders felt that entertainment circles are big and actually most the persons that she always approaches are from entertainment circles.

“Love needs time to develop. I contributed all my time in my career. Love needs both parties’ arrangements and understandings amongst each other. My job is the main reason that I’m not able to find my love partner.” Therefore, Tavia Yeung felt that her love beauty was just at an average level only.

For Tavia, love was part of a family. Since she has already chosen the other party to share her love, therefore she will treat the person as part of her family. However, she admitted that she is not successful in love relationship. “I still need to strive harder and contribute time for my future. I hope that in future, I can put some time in my love relationship other than my work.”

aww that is so true what she said about the air comment how she does not breath an expensive type of air compared to regular ppl =) she sounds so down to earth and sweet. love her acting !
